This past week brought two pieces of news that I want to share, not because I love talking about awards, but because both of them mean something beyond the recognition itself. They are a reflection of the people I get to work with and the community I am proud to be part of every single day.
A National Recognition Built on Two Decades of Showing Up
RealTrends recently named me one of the top 1.5% of real estate agents in the United States, recognizing me as both a Top Agent by Volume and a Top Agent by Sides. After more than 21 years in this business, that kind of recognition lands differently than it might have earlier in my career.
It is not about a single big year or a hot market. It is about consistency. About being here through every cycle this market has thrown at us, the boom years, the corrections, the uncertainty, the recoveries, and continuing to deliver for clients through all of it. Real estate is constantly evolving, and the agents who last are the ones who keep learning, keep adapting, and keep putting their clients' outcomes above everything else.
I am proud of this recognition, but I am more proud of what it represents: 21 years of clients who trusted me with some of the biggest decisions of their lives, and the commitment I bring to never taking that trust lightly.
The Recognition That Came Straight From the Community
The second piece of news felt even closer to home. Human Element Real Estate was named Santa Monica's Most Loved Real Estate Brokerage, and I was honored to be recognized individually as a Most Loved Realtor. The Mayor of Santa Monica acknowledged this recognition as a reflection of the connection, trust, and impact that local businesses and community members build together over time.
I will be honest. This one moved me more than I expected it to.
National rankings are meaningful, but they measure volume and transactions. This recognition came directly from the people who live here, the neighbors, the clients, the community members who chose to say that this is the brokerage they trust and value most. That is not something you can manufacture or market your way into. It is earned through years of showing up, being honest, and genuinely caring about the people on the other side of every conversation.
Santa Monica is not just a market I work in. It is a community I am part of. The relationships I have built here, with clients who have become friends, with neighbors who refer their families, with people I have helped buy their first home and then years later helped sell it when life took them somewhere new, those are the relationships that define this work for me.
What This Means Going Forward
Every home has a story, and every client has goals that are entirely their own. Being trusted to help people navigate that, to be the person they call when they are ready to make a move, is the part of this job that never gets old, no matter how many years go by.
I share this news with gratitude, not just for the recognition, but for every client, every referral, and every person in this community who has been part of this journey. You are the reason any of this is possible.
If you are thinking about buying or selling in Los Angeles and you want to work with someone who has been doing this for a long time and genuinely loves it, I would be honored to connect.
xx,
Keri
